1 name but 2 cities…

I never have been more panicked than when I found out that their was not 1 but 2 Manchester…..

It was last year, I had booked online a flight from Manchester to Rome where my family was waiting for me for some holiday time. When I arrived at the airport, I was refused entry to the flight because I wasn’t on the flight list. That’s when I realised that I was in the wrong Manchester: not Manchester (England) but Manchester (New Hampshire, USA).

Hopefully, thanks to my travel insurance (and the jetlag), I could cancel my flight at no cost :) A few hours later, I was in Rome and enjoyed one of my best holiday ever with my family.
