Worldwide travel insurance

Making a long-haul journey around the world is very exciting indeed. But you must not forget one of the most important factors in your planning : buying a travel insurance policy. You need to ensure that your travel insurance policy covers you for worldwide travel. Although this might sound obvious, most insurance companies will assume you are looking for a policy covering just a region (say Europe, or Asia) so ensure that you choose the option covering ‘worldwide’.

Worldwide insurance policies are available as either single trip insurance or annual multi trip insurance. If you are planning on travelling two or more times per year, or you are a traveller who prefers to take advantages from last minute deals, an annual multi trip policy will definitely work out cheaper. Otherwise travellers who just take one or two holidays a year can usually find that it is more cost-effective to purchase a single trip cover. Both of these options similarly allow you to add on extras such as winter sports cover, cancellation cover, baggage cover, and so on.

Do your research, purchase your travel insurance, and roam around the world at ease. Now the only limit in sight is your imagination.
